Purchase and Sales of Lots (Updated 1/11/24)

Important information from the Town of Templeton - When the sale of property is negotiated between the owner and purchaser and approved by the membership, the Secretary of the Board will notify the Town of Templeton Board of Assessors.  The membership and lease agreement are the only financial transaction between the new member/lessee and Templeton Fish and Game. The financial transaction for the property on the leased lot is between the seller and the buyer.  Within 15 days of the sale, it is the new owner's responsibility to contact the Board of Assessors and submit a copy of the bill of sale. It is the sellers responsibility to ensure that the purchaser is aware of this requirement.
